CURSED FRONTIER

Cursed Frontier is a 2D shooting and horror video game that stands out for its artistic section created from hand-made artistic engravings, which were scanned and contributed to creating this funereal and dark feeling that characterizes the video game.

In “Cursed Frontier” he plays a lost traveler, who by bad luck of fate, was lost on a road that no one remembers or travels in the middle of the night and at the mercy of the lucero, who will seek to kill him by creating and raising the dead who once passed through the same path, the only thing that stands between the desire of the lucero and the destiny of the traveler, is his rifle and flashlight that will help him get out of there.

CREATION

This project was made mostly from artistic engravings on linoleum, which were then scanned and digitized to create the assets and animations of the video game, linoleum was chosen because it fits into this Mexican funereal aesthetic, referring us to the works of Guadalupe Posadas. .
