In the final glimmers of the Mayan civilization, King Pakal journeyed to the stars in search of salvation for his people from an inevitable cataclysm. Decades later, his ship has returned to Earth’s orbit… empty. With the last strength of the civilization, the priests have chosen a man to explore the remains of the vessel and uncover what became of Pakal — and whether a spark of hope still lingers.
